MALAYSIA Airlines, the partner for Malaysia Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair Penang 2018, will be a crowd-puller at the three-day event.
MATTA honorary secretary general Nigel Wong said the national airline would offer many not-be-missed promotions and travel packages at attractive prices via its participating agents.
"We are happy to partner with Malaysia Airlines which recently took delivery of the latest Airbus 350-XWB featuring Wi-Fi onboard.
" MATTA Tair Penang 2018 starting from Friday will be held at the Straits Quay Convention Centre in Tanjung Tokong.
The fair will feature 46 organisations including 27 travel and tour agencies, five state government tourism offices and three national tourism offices of Indonesia.
Wong said they would be targeting sales of RM20mil compared to RM17mil last year.
Malaysia Airlines Malaysia and Brunei regional head Roslan Ismail said the airline would offer discounts of up to 50% to international destinations such as London, Sydney, Perth, Denpasar, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Tokyo, Incheon, Guangzhou, Dhaka and Colombo.
"As an added bonus, the fair organiser will also be giving away a pair of economy class tickets to Perth as part of the prizes for the buyers' contest."
