MATTA Fair Pulau Pinang eyes RM20 million in sales

GEORGE TOWN, March 20 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) expects to achieve RM20 million in sales at the three-day MATTA Fair Pulau Pinang, to be held from March 30, 2018.
MATTA Immediate Past President, Datuk Hamzah Rahmat, said various offers and attractive packages would be available for visitors wishing to choose destinations for their dream vacation.
"We expect to attract 20,000 visitors to this year's fair which will be held at the Straits Quay Convention Centre here," he told a media conference today.
Hamzah said visitors to the fair stood to win various special prizes by spending a minimum of RM250.
A total of 134 booths have been booked, and 27 travel agencies, 46 organisations as well as five state tourism offices would be participating.....
