MATTA Collaborates with Merchantrade for Coming Fair

KUALA LUMPUR, March 8: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) for the first time will be working together with Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd, the biggest money services business (MSB) provider by agent network in the country.

During its three-day fair this from Mar 17- 19, Merchantrade will be providing money changing services at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).

MATTA’s chief executive officer Phua Tai Heng said that they are excited to have this addition into the MATTA fair, where it would make it easier for customers to purchase their tickets and receive good money changing rates.

“This facility is for visitors who want to buy packages and change money,” said Phua during the press conference at MATTA headquarters Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Merchantrade’s founder and managing director Ramasamy K. Veeran said that they are equally excited to be participating in this year’s MATTA fair, adding that they will also be providing their services for the second fair this year as well.

He said that as the “official money changer”, Mercantrade will offer some exciting promotions at the upcoming fair, which includes cash backs and free gifts for currency exchange done via temporary counter and its online money changing app eForex.

“The temporary counter will allow us to provide MATTA fair visitors with the same competitive rates, superior customer service experience and brand trust to our loyal customer base we receive at our retails outlets ever day.

“For their convenience, customers can purchase currencies from the temporary counter using their debit cards,” said Veeran during the press conference.

Merchantrade booths are located at Booth F1-F3, for three days at the MATTA fair.
