MATTA Fair: MAS to offer 30-50pc discounts to all destinations

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 ― Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will offer discounts of between 30 and 50 per cent on promotion tickets purchased during the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair in September.

MAS Senior Manager Regional Sales, Kathleen Leong, said the national carrier will have a big presence via the travel agents at the fair and the discounts will be offered to all MAS destinations.

“Our channels of distribution would be via the travel agents at the fair, our appointed travel agencies nationwide as well as our website,” she said at a press conference on the coming MATTA Fair here today.

The three-day event will be held from Sept 4-6, 2015 at the Putra World Trade Centre here today.

She said MAS will also contribute flight tickets for the winners of the MATTA Fair Buyers' Contest's winners.

The contest will be opened to those who bought travel package of a minimum RM300 at the fair, she said.

“MAS will be giving away 10 return tickets to destinations such as London, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong and Hong Kong to the winners,” she said. ― Bernama
